Arms of France Fireback

Coat of arms of the House of Bourbon, an originally French royal house that became a major dynasty in Europe. It delivered kings for Spain (Navarra), France, both Sicilies and Parma. Bourbon kings ruled France from 1589 up to the French revolution as well some short periods thereafter. The coat of arms consists of a crown with 3 fleurs de lys (lilies), symbolizing royalty. The Fleurs de Lys (lilies) were partially truncated after the French Revolution as fleurs de lys represented royalty and aristocracy throughout Europe.
